In the US, one of the few groups of people legally granted preferential employment status is veterans. The “Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974 (VEVRAA)” and “Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS)” laws require that federal employers take action to hire and promote veteran employees. These laws give further preferential status to disabled veterans and veterans who have recently separated or have served in wars. JungleJobs has access to many resources to help our military and veterans gain employment after their service. There are many opportunities for not only veterans of foreign wars, but for retired members of the armed forces including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, Military Reserves and National Guard. Many employers are grateful for the chance to hire a soldier and help you advance your career.
