We need seasonal employees to assist with our season starting in February until cattle are sold in December.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Making feed, feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading cattle.
• Examining animals to detect diseases ,injuries and ensure that they are in optimal health.
• Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations or insecticides.
• Assist with loading and offloading of cattle on or off trucks.
• Continuous inspection offences.
• General maintenance of fences and doing repairs where needed. General farm duties associated with cattle care.

Job Qualification and Requirements:

• A minimum of three (3) months of verifiable experience required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 50lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.  Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Rate:  $20.02 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
