Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive and operate farm equipment for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting, and harvesting grain and oilseed crops.
• Attach farm implements such as plow, disc, and drill to tractor.
• Till soil, rock-picking, plant and cultivate grain.
• Tow harvesting equipment.
• Drive and operate self-propelled combine.
• Manual labor - laying poly pipe, assist with irrigation of crops, drain excess water from crops, putting in rice spills and removing of rice spills.
• Walking fields to remove weeds - chop with hoe or remove with hands.
• General lubrication, service (check fluids) and perform incidental repair to farm machinery.
• Maintain and clean agricultural building and yards.

Job qualifications and requirements

• Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain driver's license within 30-90 days from hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 75 lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.  Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage rate:  $13.40 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
