Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest and store crops.
• Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill to a tractor.
• Till the soil, rock picking, plant and cultivate grain.
• Assist with irrigation of crops and drain excess water from crops.
• Operate heavy farming equipment like tractors, spray rig and track hoe.
• Tow harvesting equipment.
• Drive semi-trucks to transport crops to elevator and storage area. Storage areas are located on the farm, but also outside farm boundaries. Workers drive a distance of 5 - 25 miles to the storage areas.
• General maintenance of equipment.
• Pick up and carry sacks of grain, load and unload trucks.

Job qualifications and requirements:

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 75lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions
• Due to operating farm machinery and equipment, workers will be required to take a drug test post-hiring. Drug testing will be conducted at the employer's instruction and expense. Positive testing will result in the termination of the employment contract.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $13.40 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract.
