Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
- Operate tractors, planters, sprayers, seed drills, manure spreaders, and irrigation equipment.
- Operate other farm equipment.
- Engage in planting, weeding, spraying, and/or harvesting activities.
- Fertilize, dust, and spray crops. \Irrigate soil using portable pipes or ditch systems.
- Maintain ditches or pipes and pumps. Install, maintain, and repair pivot irrigation systems.
- Load and unload crops or materials manually or using conveyors, forklifts, or transfer augers.
- Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks.
- Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
- Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into machinery.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Operate equipment to harvest crops.
- Complete maintenance and repairs on irrigation equipment.
- Record agricultural data.
- Drive pickup trucks to haul crops, supplies, and tools. Inspect, adjust, and complete all general farm activities.
- Operate all equipment.
- Maintain and repair all equipment.
- Employees will need to assist with spring Bermuda mowing, raking, and baling for hay.
- Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity, and/or experience at employer’s discretion.
- Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
- Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
- Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
- Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
- Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions.
- No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
- Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
- Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
- Due to the use of farm equipment and vehicles, all employees are required to complete a post-hire drug screening at the employer’s expense. Failure to pass either will result in termination.
- We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination. Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.

Wage: $16.22 per hour
3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer
Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract
Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
