Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Load and unload hay, straw and forage manually and with machinery for animal feed and other usage.
• Worker must operate equipment like tractor with loader, skid steer, loaders, bale processors, and utility vehicles used in daily operations.
• Stack and organize bales according to types and quality using tractors and payloaders. Inventory will need to be taken of each type of forage and recorded according to types and nutritional values.
• General maintenance will need to be done on machinery, trailers and vehicles used.
• Drive farm trucks and trailers to haul hay, straw and forage between fields, barns, and feeding areas within the farm and to customer locations.
• Secure hay and straw bales on flatbeds using straps and tarps to ensure safe and weather-protected transportation.
• Load and unload bales and materials using mechanical loaders, forklift attachments, or by hand where needed.
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance (check tires, lights, oil).
• Maintain delivery records and fuel logs, and assist with route planning as needed for farm operations.
• Loading areas and grounds will need daily maintenance clear of debris including snow removal.
• Must be able to work independently after given instructions and be self motivated

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience of tractors, payloaders and skid steers.
• Due to possibility of driving long distances at times, worker will sit extensively.
• Loading and unloading of livestock and grain will require extensive pushing, pulling of equipment and might require lifting of tools, equipment and items up to 60 lbs.
• Most work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures.
• No smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours
• Worker must be fluent in English for record keeping safety reasons
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion
• All tools are provided by the employer

Wage:  $19.21 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
