Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepare fields for planting by operating tractors and tillage equipment.
• Plant hay, wheat, sunflower, and corn crops using seed drills and row planters.
• Assist with crop cultivation, including weed control, fertilizer application, and general field maintenance.
• Operate farm machinery during harvest, including combines, swathers/windrowers, balers, and forage equipment.
• Cut, rake, windrow, bale, stack, and transport hay.
• Assist with harvesting, loading, and unloading wheat, sunflower, and corn crops.
• Load, haul, and unload grain, seed, hay, and farm supplies.
• Operate grain carts, augers, conveyors, and grain handling equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on farm equipment, including fueling, greasing, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Conduct daily safety and operational checks on machinery.
  Maintain clean and safe work areas, including fields, yards, and equipment sheds.
• Assist with general farm duties as needed.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Must know GPS guidance.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.
• Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $18.98 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
