Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals
- Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries
- Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides
- Maintaining winter animal housing areas – cleaning stalls and sheds using disinfectant solutions, brushes, and shovels
- Drive trucks, tractors, and other farming equipment to distribute food to cattle
- Maintaining and repair of equipment, various workshop tasks as well as maintenance of grain bins, general buildings and fences
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) months verifiable experience.
- Workers must be able to obtain their drivers license within 30- 90 days of hire.
- Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
- Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
- Most work is performed outdoors, and the North Dakota severe winter weather will expose workers to extreme cold temperatures and sever conditions like blizzards and snow. No smoking allowed in farming equipment, farm buildings and house.
- No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
- All tools are provided by the employer.
Wage: $19.21 per hour
3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer
Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract.
Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
