Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals
• Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries
• Administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides
• Assisting in birthing and be able to pull a calf
• Ongoing maintenance includes fixing fences, digging post holes, raking and baling hay.
• Use of various farm and cattle specific farming equipment (6175 John Deere tractors and loader, Miller Pro Forage Wagon)
• Drive farm trucks, tractors, and other farming equipment to distribute food to cattle

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30- 90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 100lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
• Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion. Due to the use of farm equipment and vehicles, all employees are required to complete a post-hire drug screening at the employer’s expense. Failure to pass drug screening will result in termination of employment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $19.26 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract. Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday.
