Walmart Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience for customers. Here are some key duties and responsibilities:

Greeting customers: Making sure customers feel welcome and helping them find what they need.

Ringing up purchases: Operating cash registers, handling returns, and applying coupons according to store policy.

Stocking shelves: Organizing merchandise, rotating stock, and removing damaged or expired items.

Maintaining cleanliness: Keeping the department and workstation tidy.

Assisting customers: Helping customers locate products and providing information about store products, services, and policies.

Promoting products: Encouraging customers to purchase extended warranties and store credit card offers.

Handling carts: Returning shopping carts to the front of the store.
As a sales associates you can work either full-time or part-time, with part-time positions typically requiring 15-20 hours per week and full-time positions around 40 hours. The starting pay varies but generally ranges from $29.36 - $40.25 per hour
