At Bridges: An Intergenerational Center, we're looking for an Administrative Lead who can seamlessly balance classroom leadership with administrative support. This isn't a desk job—and it isn't just a teaching job. It's the best of both worlds!

✨ What You'll Do:

  • Support daily operations and ensure smooth center functioning
  • Assist with staff leadership, coaching, and onboarding
  • Help maintain licensing compliance and quality standards
  • Step into classrooms as needed to support children and teachers
  • Assist with tours, enrollment, scheduling, and family communication
  • Open and close the center as needed
  • Be a positive, encouraging leader who helps build an amazing team

🎓 Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education
  • Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required
  • Strong knowledge of Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulations
  • Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or mentoring role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and community partners
  • Proficient with basic computer programs and technology
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
  • Experience with using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Stratagies preferred 

💡 What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 5 years of Early Childhood Education experience
  • Associate's Degree in ECE or CDA required
  • Strong knowledge of Michigan childcare licensing regulations
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
  • Passion for creating a positive culture for children, families, and staff
