At Bridges: An Intergenerational Center, we're looking for an Administrative Lead who can seamlessly balance classroom leadership with administrative support. This isn't a desk job—and it isn't just a teaching job. It's the best of both worlds!
✨ What You'll Do:
- Support daily operations and ensure smooth center functioning
- Assist with staff leadership, coaching, and onboarding
- Help maintain licensing compliance and quality standards
- Step into classrooms as needed to support children and teachers
- Assist with tours, enrollment, scheduling, and family communication
- Open and close the center as needed
- Be a positive, encouraging leader who helps build an amazing team
🎓 Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Early Childhood Education
- Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential required
- Strong knowledge of Michigan Child Care Licensing Rules and Regulations
- Experience in a leadership, supervisory, or mentoring role preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with staff, families, and community partners
- Proficient with basic computer programs and technology
- Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for providing high-quality care and education to young children
- Experience with using Creative Curriculum and Teaching Stratagies preferred
💡 What We're Looking For:
- Minimum 5 years of Early Childhood Education experience
- Associate's Degree in ECE or CDA required
- Strong knowledge of Michigan childcare licensing regulations
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and solution-oriented
- Passion for creating a positive culture for children, families, and staff
