Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching and loading cattle.
• Examining cattle to detect diseases and injuries.
• Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides.
• Maintaining winter animal treatment areas.
• Hauling silage with farm truck pulling a trailer.
• Bailing hay.
• Ongoing maintenance includes cleaning, maintaining, and repair of equipment and fences.
• Assist with lagoon revamp - hauling clay and doing dirt work - must be able to operate machinery like a skid steer, excavator, bulldozer and backhoe.
• Experience with cattle will be favorable.
• Tractors used: mainly John Deere

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Most work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures and in some cases severe weather conditions like blizzards.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
• Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $19.21 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
