Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals
 - Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries
 - Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides
 - Maintaining winter animal housing areas; using diggers, shovels and other equipment needed
 - Ongoing maintenance includes cleaning, maintaining and repair of equipment, various
 - workshop tasks as well as maintenance of fences, feedlot pens, water tanks, and feed
 - equipment.
 - Grind hay for cattle rations.
 - Use of various farm and cattle specific farming equipment, which includes the operation of feed
 - trucks, payloaders, semi – truck and tractors.
 
Job Qualifications and Requirements include:
- A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
 - Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
 - Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
 - Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
 - Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures and extreme weather conditions like blizzards and snow.
 - No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
 - Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion
 - Due to the use of farm equipment and vehicles, all employees are required to complete a post-hire drug screening at the employer’s expense. Failure to pass either will result in
 - termination of employment.
 - We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided
 - housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
 - Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
 - All tools are provided by the employer
 
Wage: $19.21 per hour
3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer
Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract
Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
