Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive and operate farm machinery.
• Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill to tractor.
• Operate back hoe, forklift and trucks on the farm.
• Perform farm maintenance activities like routine inspection of machinery, plows, irrigation systems,
• weed control, fertilization, and maintenance and repairs of farm buildings/storage areas.
• General seasonal farm duties assigned like testing soil, screen potato seeds, fertilizing and
• management of pests and weeds.
• Tractor tillage work.
• Maintain and operate irrigation systems.
• Tow harvesting equipment.
• General lubrication, service (check fluids) and mechanical repair to farm machinery.
• Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools or farm workers.

Job Qualifications and Requirements

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Due to the liability of operating equipment, the employer requires a drug screen check post-hire at the employers' expense.
• The employer also requires a criminal background check post hire at the employers' expense due to expensive tools and equipment. Failure to pass the drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• All tools are provided by the employer.
• Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.

Wage:  $19.26 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
