Job duties include but is not limited to:

• Row crop farming:  drive and operate farm machinery to plant, spray, cultivate, harvest, and store crops.
• Attach farm implements, such as a plow, disc, and drill to tractor.
• Till soil, plant and cultivate grain.
• Tow harvesting equipment.
• Drive and operate self-propelled combine, swather baler and rake.
• Harvesting, storing, and hauling of grain.
• Assist with Irrigation of crops – center pivot and gravity irrigation.
• Maintenance of pivots for irrigation purposes
• General maintenance of farm equipment, machinery, and vehicles – lubrication, oil change and replacing of filters.
• Driving farm equipment like tractor, combine, swather, baler, and rake.
• Crops: hay, wheat, soybeans, silage, and corn.

Job requirements

• Minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 75lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions and sometimes severe weather conditions like thunderstorms and tornadoes.
• Employer has a zero smoking policy on the farm.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage: $19.26 per hour
