Job duties include but are not limited to:

•       Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements.

•       Inspect machines, engines, transmissions etc. and run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues.

•       Conduct repairs aiming for maximum reliability.

•       Troubleshoot reported problems and resolve them in a timely manner.

•       Perform thorough maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.

•       Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components.

•       Replenish fluids and components of engines and machinery.

•       Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or     vehicle users.

•       Undertake other duties as assigned (i.e., repair of hydraulic systems, painting vehicles etc.)

•       Keep logs of work and report on issues.

Job qualifications and requirements

•       Minimum of twelve months verifiable experience is required.

•       Work in the workshop will require workers to lift tools, equipment, and items up to 60lbs.

•       Work is physical and manual labor will require workers to perform duties that requires extensive pushing, sitting and pulling, frequent stooping or bending over or movements might be repetitive.

•       Nebraska’s summers are hot and humid and the workshop where work will be performed might expose workers to warm temperatures and humid conditions.

• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $18.97 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract.
