Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Till soil, plant and cultivate grain.
• Attach farm implements, such as plow, discs, sprayers, or harvesters and drill to tractors using bolts and hand tools.
• Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
• Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust and spray crops.
• Assist with irrigation – irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems, and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps.
• Assist with maintenance and service of irrigation equipment.
• Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts or transfer augers.
• Observe and listen to machinery operations to detect equipment malfunctions.
• Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural productions, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
• Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
• Load hoppers, containers or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels or pitchforks.
• Weigh crop-filled containers and record weights and other identifying information.
• Drive farm trucks to haul crops, tools and supplies.
• Harvesting of crops.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
• Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage: $19.26 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer.

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
