Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops.
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools.
- Till soil, plant and cultivate grain
- Tow harvesting equipment
- Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, hand trucks, forklifts, or transfer augers.
- Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
- Assist with irrigation – irrigate soil, using portable pipes or ditch systems and maintain ditches or pipes and pumps
- Assist with maintenance and service or irrigation equipment Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, suction gates, shovels, or pitchforks.
- Weigh crop-filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information.
- Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery.
- Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
- Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
- Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Direct and monitor the activities of work crews engaged in planting, weeding, or harvesting activities.
- Walk beside or ride on planting machines while inserting plants in planter mechanisms at specified intervals.
- Drive farm trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farm workers and operate self propelled combine. (no commercial driving)
- Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products.
- Position boxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch products, removing and closing full containers.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
- Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
- Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
- Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
- Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions.
- No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
- Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
- Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers' expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Employer requires criminal background check post-hire at employers' expense due to the presence of children on the farm. Failure to pass drug screen and/or criminal background check will result in termination of employment
- All tools are provided by the employer.
Wage: $19.26 per hour
3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer
Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract
Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
