Job duties include but is not limited to:

• Transport of livestock to different feedlots.
• Haul grain (corn and hay) to feed our livestock.
• Daily maintenance and simple repairs of semi-truck and trailer.
• Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage.
• Uphold employer’s commitment to safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Job qualifications and requirements

• Workers must have a valid Class A CDL. Clean driving record.
• Minimum of 12 months tractor-trailer experience.
• Due to possibility of driving long distances at times, worker will sit extensively. Loading and unloading of livestock and grain will require extensive pushing, pulling of equipment and might require lifting of tools, equipment and items up to 60 lbs.
• Worker might be exposed to severe weather conditions like snow, blizzards and extreme cold temperatures.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $28.92 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
