Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Feeding, watering, herding, castrating, branding, weighing, catching, and loading animals
• Examining animals to detect diseases and injuries
• Assisting in birthing, administering medications, vaccinations, or insecticides
• Maintaining winter animal housing areas; using diggers, shovels and other equipment needed
• Ongoing maintenance includes cleaning, maintaining and repair of equipment, various workshop tasks as well as maintenance of grain bins and general buildings
• Use of various farm and cattle specific farming equipment
• Drive trucks, tractors, and other farming equipment to distribute food to cattle
• Maintaining records, as required by the various relevant entities, clients and inhouse management
• Maintaining personnel files, tracking hours for payroll (H-2A workers and permanent workers)
• Monitoring feed and supply inventories
• Recording livestock health and treatment events and supporting data entry into livestock management systems.
• Assist weighing cattle
• Make tags for livestock
• Assisting with the general upkeep of offices, scale rooms, and common areas

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Most work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures and severe weather conditions like blizzards and snow.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion
• We enforce a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $20.56 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
