Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Build, repair and maintain cattle fences, and winter livestock areas.
•  Operate feed wagons, feed trucks, tractors and other farm equipment to distribute feed and care for cattle during winter.
• Check cattle, water supplies and herd health; monitor cows and calves during calving and assist with birthing as required.
•  Herd, move, catch, weigh and load cattle using 4-wheelers and other livestock handling equipment; assist with processing and branding cows and calves.
•  Maintain and repair farm vehicles, machinery and cattle handling equipment, including general workshop and winter maintenance tasks.
• Perform other general duties related to the care, handling and management of cattle and the farm operation

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Most work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures and severe weather conditions like blizzards and snow.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.

Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.

Wage: $20.56 per hour for U.S. domestic workers.
