Job duties include but are not limited to: 

• Row crop farming - corn and soybeans 
• Till soil, plant and cultivate crops. 
• Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store crops. 
• Attach farm implements such as plow, discs, drill, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors using bolts and hand tools. 
• Operate towed machines such as seed drills or manure spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust and spray crops. 
• Weed trimming. 
• Assist with irrigation – installation of irrigation poly pipe and assist with irrigation. 
• General farm labor tasks, like washing equipment, mowing, sweeping, dusting and shop cleaning. 

• Assist with washing and waxing of planes. 

Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

• A minimum of 3 (three) months verifiable experience is required. 
• Workers must be able to obtain a driver’s license within 30-60 days of hire. 
• Job duties require workers to perform manual and physical labor. Workers will be required to push, pull and walk extensively. Some duties to be performed will involve repetitive movements. Workers will be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 60lbs. 
• Most of the work is performed outdoors and workers will be exposed to extremely hot and humid conditions. 
• Employers have a zero-tolerance policy for alcohol and drug use on the entire farm. 
• No smoking is allowed in and around farm buildings, housing, vehicles and equipment. 

Wage: $13.40 per hour
