Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Operate farm equipment for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, planting and harvesting crops.
• Attach farm implements such as plow, disc and drill to tractor.
• Participate in pecan orchard operations including harvesting and handling pecans.
• Operate and maintain farm equipment such as planters, sprayers and harvesters
• General lubrication, service (check fluids) and perform incidental repair to farm machinery
• Perform general maintenance and/or repairs on farm equipment and farm structures.
• Maintain and clean agricultural buildings and yards.
• Crops: corn, soybeans, wheat and pecans

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.  Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $12.27 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
