Seasonal job opportunity on crop farm – hay, wheat, rice, corn, and soybeans

Rate: $14.53 per hour
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Operating large farm equipment and machinery much of which is equipped with GPS such as tractor, tillage tool, planter for cultivating, tilling, fertilizing, moving, storing, harvesting grain and oilseed crops such as rice, corn, and soybeans.
- Assisting with the operation and maintenance of irrigation systems, drain excess water from crops.
- Driving truck or tractor with trailer attached to move crops or equipment to designated locations.
- Minor daily and incidental upkeep to equipment and worksite.
Job qualifications and requirements
- Minimum of 3 months verifiable experience is required.
- Workers must be able to obtain driver’s license 30-90 days from hire.
- Most work is performed outdoors, and workers will be exposed to harsh conditions, like extreme heat and humidity.
- Workers will perform physical and manual work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and some movements might be repetitive.
Due to operating machinery and farm equipment, worker may be required to take a rando drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive for an illegal/controlled substance or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
