Rate: $19.21 per hour
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Worker will perform duties such as: Load and unload crops or containers of materials, manually or using conveyors, handcarts, forklifts, or transfer augers.
- Mix specified materials or chemicals, and dump solutions, powders, or seeds into planter or sprayer machinery.
- Spray fertilizer or pesticide solutions to control insects, fungus and weed growth, and diseases, using hand sprayers.
- Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions.
- Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust mechanisms on machinery.
- Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production, such as tractors, combines, and irrigation equipment.
- Adjust, general removing and closing full containers.
- Drive and operate farm machinery to plant, cultivate, harvest and store grain crops.
- Attach farm implements, such as plow, disc and drill to tractor.
- Till soil; plant and cultivate grain.
- Tow harvesting equipment.
- Record information about crops, such as pesticide use, yields, or costs.
- Participate in the inspection, grading, sorting, storage, transportation and post-harvest treatment of crops.
- Inform farmers or farm managers of crop progress.
- Operate tractors, tractor-drawn machinery, and self-propelled machinery to plow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant, cultivate, spray and harvest crops.
- Clean work and storage areas, maintain grounds and landscaping, lubrication, pre-season and incidental repair, maintenance and in season service (check fluids) farm machinery and notify supervisors when machinery malfunctions.
- Attach farm implements such as plows, discs, sprayers, or harvesters to tractors, using bolts and hand tools. Load hoppers, containers, or conveyors to feed machines with products, using forklifts, transfer augers, shovels, or pitchforks.
- Operate towed machines such as seed drills, sprayers or spreaders to plant, fertilize, dust, and spray crops.
- Weigh crop filled containers, and record weights and other identifying information.
- Drive farm trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools, or farmworkers.
- Guide products on conveyors to regulate flow through machines, and to discard diseased or rotten products.
- Position boxes or attach bags at discharge ends of machinery to catch products.
- Repair farm buildings, fences, and other structures.
- Obtain, move, and sort products, materials, containers, and orders, using hand tools.
- Mark and label containers, container tags, or products, using marking tools.
- Clean containers, materials, supplies, storage areas, work areas, maintain grounds and landscaping using cleaning solutions and hand tools. Place or pour products or materials into containers, using hand tools and equipment, or fill containers from spouts or chutes.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
- Six (6) months recent and verifiable experience is required for the job duties listed.
- Job duties include lifting and carrying of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 50 lbs.
- Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and repeating movements.
- The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures.
- Workers must be physically able to work in harsh conditions for extended periods of time.
- Workers must obtain a driver's license within 30-60 days following hire. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
