LIQUOR STORE SHIFT LEADER
Job Type: Full time
- Leadership & Supervision: Act as Manager on Duty, train, coach, and delegate tasks to sales associates, handle no-shows, and ensure smooth workflows.
- Customer Service: Greet guests, provide product knowledge, resolve complaints, process transactions accurately (POS, cash handling).
- Operations: Open/close the store, perform cash management (reconciliation, safe drops), manage inventory (stocking, receiving, counts), and maintain store cleanliness/organization.
- Compliance & Standards: Uphold all company policies, safety protocols, and standards for appearance and product availability.
- Reporting: Communicate issues and performance to higher management.
Typical Duties
- Opening: Prepare the store, set up POS, ensure readiness for customers.
- During Shift: Monitor staff, assist customers, restock shelves, handle complex issues, manage inventory.
- Closing: Cash out registers, secure the store, complete administrative tasks, reconcile sales.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with POS systems and cash handling.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of retail operations and inventory management.
