About the Role

We’re seeking a dependable, self-directed Maintenance & Grounds Manager to oversee upkeep, repairs, and general maintenance across several properties. This is an ideal position for someone who takes initiative, enjoys problem-solving, and works efficiently with minimal supervision.

Currently a part-time role (about 6 hours per week), this position offers additional hours during seasonal periods and the opportunity to grow into a full-time position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs across multiple properties.
  • Change HVAC air filters, replace lightbulbs, and complete minor paint touch-ups.
  • Handle basic plumbing tasks (e.g., leaks, clogs, fixture replacement).
  • Manage sprinkler systems — seasonal shut-off and turn-on.
  • Complete seasonal maintenance tasks (landscaping prep, snow removal coordination, etc.).
  • Move and organize tables, chairs, and event equipment, including up and down stairs.
  • Lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized maintenance and storage areas.
  • Identify maintenance needs and recommend proactive repairs or improvements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in facility, property, or grounds maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, painting, and general repairs.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 75 lbs).
  • Reliable transportation to travel between multiple properties.
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to work additional hours during busy seasons.
