Evening Supervisor/Operations Manager

This is not an entry-level desk job — you'll be running crews, landing new clients, and making real business decisions. This role combines evening supervision with daytime business development and operations. This role is structured to never exceed 40 hours per week. Daytime hours Monday–Friday are flexible and adjusted based on evening shift length to ensure a balanced full-time schedule. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring high cleaning standards, managing the evening cleaning crew, and contributing to the company’s growth through client acquisition and operational support. Previous supervisors in this role have used it as a launching pad to advance their careers significantly — this is a role where your performance directly determines your growth.

Key Responsibilities Evening Supervision (Monday–Thursday, ~5 hours per night)

Shifts typically run approximately 8pm–1am, Monday–Thursday. Exact hours vary by job but rarely exceed 3am.

Oversee cleaning crews to ensure quality standards are met.

Take before and after pictures of cleaning sites to document work quality and improvements.

Calculate square footage and assess job difficulty to determine pricing and provide accurate quotes.

Drive and manage the company work van.

Conduct final walkthroughs to verify job completion.

Handle minor on-site issues and escalate major concerns as needed.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures.

Work four Sundays per quarter, each requiring a shift from 8 AM - 5 PM.

Daytime Responsibilities (Flexible Hours)

Perform client consultations to assess needs and provide service recommendations.

Cold call and acquire new commercial cleaning clients.

Restock cleaning supplies and manage laundry for cleaning materials.

Schedule jobs and create employee work schedules.

Conduct interviews and assist with hiring new employees.

Maintain records of job completions and report to management.

Compensation & Benefits

Base Salary: $52,000 per year.

Commission: 7% of the first year's total revenue from newly acquired clients. A motivated salesperson who lands just 2-3 new commercial clients in their first year can realistically earn $10,000–$20,000 in additional commission on top of base salary.

End-of-Year Bonus: 1% of company EBITDA.

Paid Time Off: 10 days PTO per year.

Flexible Schedule: This role never exceeds 40 hours per week. Monday–Thursday includes ~3 flexible daytime hours + evening shift (8pm–1am). Fridays are a structured 9am–5pm admin day — mornings and early afternoons are yours.

Company Vehicle: Work van provided during shifts — vehicle returned to company parking space after each shift.

Additional Shifts: Four Sundays per quarter, each requiring a shift from 8 AM - 5 PM.

Qualifications & Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

1-3 years of any professional experience preferred — we care more about your drive and leadership potential than your industry background. We will train the right person.

Strong leadership and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Strong sales skills are highly desired. Sales or business development experience is preferred but not required.

A four-year college degree is preferred but not required — relevant experience will be considered.
