Duties
- Perform accurate calibration of ADAS components on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize schematics, automotive diagnostics tools, and electrical systems knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve complex vehicle issues.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance and repair tasks, including wheel alignments, powertrain diagnostics, transmission servicing, and electrical system repairs.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other automotive service tools to execute repairs efficiently and safely.
- Develop and expand your territory by engaging with dealerships, collision shop operators, and customers to promote calibration services and build lasting relationships.
- Maintain detailed records of calibration procedures, repairs performed, and customer interactions to ensure quality control and accountability.
- Stay current with industry advancements in ADAS technology, automotive electrical systems, diesel engine repair, and auto estimating practices to provide expert guidance.
Required
- Strong automotive technical aptitude
- ADAS calibration experience
- Automotive Diagnostic experience
- Self-starter who can operate independently in a remote-managed environment
- Reliable and organized
- Customer-friendly attitude and professional communication
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Comfortable working at customer locations and adapting to changing conditions
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; willingness to travel within the Raleigh market area as needed.
Preferred
- Automotive programming experience
- Collision repair or auto glass experience
- ASE certifications
- I-CAR certifications
- OEM scan tool familiarity
- Existing industry relationships in North Carolina market
- Sales or account-development mindset
