Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Feeding and watering of cattle
• Drive trucks, tractors and other farming equipment to distribute feed to livestock
• Stacking and re-stacking of hay in the barns
• Moving hay between barns
• Assist in loading hay trucks for transport
• Repairs to irrigation lines.
• Preparation of platforms and pipe trenches for new proposed pivot installation
• Service and minor repairs on vehicles, machines and equipment (tractors, ATV, balers, rakes and ploughing equipment) – change oil filters, apply lubricants, replace tyres
• Repair and maintenance of buildings, sheds, barns and workshops
• Clear snow or mud access paths for feed and water

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Most work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to extreme cold temperatures and severe weather conditions like blizzards and snow.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
• Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• Due to the use of farm equipment and vehicles, all employees are required to complete a post-hire drug screening at the employer’s expense. Failure to pass either will result in termination.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination.
• Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and nearby equipment.
• These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage:  $19.97 per hour

3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
