Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Install and maintain irrigation systems and water lines.
• Moving water lines morning and night.
• Move and install irrigation pipes and equipment.
• Monitor irrigation of crops.
• Operate equipment like tractors, skid steer loaders, backhoes windrower, baler, and bale wagon.
• General maintenance of machinery and equipment- this includes duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery.
• Cleaning of machinery and equipment.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

• A minimum of three months’ verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• The employer will be responsible for any costs incurred to obtain a local CA driver's license.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 100lbs.
• As work is mostly done outdoors, workers will be exposed to warm and hot temperatures and severe weather conditions like thunderstorms.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• We enforce a zero-tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. Being under the influence or in possession of drugs or alcohol while on duty, at the worksite, or the employer provided housing, or employer equipment and/or vehicles will lead to immediate termination. Smoking is prohibited in all farm buildings, vehicles, housing, and near equipment. These measures are essential to maintaining a safe and responsible work environment. All tools are provided by the employer.
• The wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.

Wage: $16.50 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract.
