Job duties include but are not limited to:
Install and maintain irrigation systems and water lines.
Moving water lines morning and night.
Move and install irrigation pipes and equipment.
Monitor irrigation of crops.
Operate equipment like tractors, skid steer loaders, backhoes windrower, baler, and bale wagon.
General maintenance of machinery and equipment- this includes duties such as lubricating and repairing farm machinery.
Cleaning of machinery and equipment.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of three (3) months verifiable experience.
No minimum education is required.
Workers to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
The employer will be responsible for any costs incurred to obtain a local CA driver's license. Work is done outdoors for long periods of time and requires prolong periods of standing and/or walking, repetitive movements, and frequent bending and/or stooping.
Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 100lbs.
As work is mostly done outdoors, workers will be exposed to warm and hot temperatures and severe weather conditions like thunderstorms.
Wage: $19.21 per hour
3/4th guarantee apply – for detailed description, please require from employer
Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract
Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday
