We are now looking for our Operations Leader! We can’t stress how important this position is and what an impact you will make!
This is a work-from-home position with frequent trips to our Burien warehouse space as needed. In addition to pay, health/dental benefits and a strong bonus are provided.
Responsibilities:
*Support a team of sales staff by executing over 400 entertainment events a year including mock casino parties, outdoor movie cinemas, high school graduation parties, and corporate picnics.
*Strategic planning and execution of multiple entertainment events each night.
*Lead 200 part-time gig workers.
*Managing the Warehouse including inventory and organization.
*Hiring, training, and onboarding new employees.
*Walk-throughs of venues during the sales cycle.
*Facilitate the maintenance of a small fleet of vehicles. Assist in the acquisition of other vehicles.
*Frequent local travel to warehouse space, venues, and events.
*Support operations staff for loading/unloading trucks, event setup, and managing events.
*Learn and train employees for casino games for mock casino parties including poker, roulette, craps, and blackjack. This may include attending training in Las Vegas or equivalent.
Qualifications:
*High School diploma or equivalent. College education preferred.
*Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
*Possess a high degree of organizational skills.
*Strong Customer Service skills.
*Excellent written and verbal Human Relations and Communications skills.
*Ability to lift 70 pounds.
*Ability to use power tools such as jig saw, table saw, drills, and air tools to repair equipment.
*Driver’s license and a clean driving record.
*Ability to attend industry conferences in Las Vegas and/or Orlando as needed for new equipment purchases or learning best practices.
*Experience with AV equipment preferred (outdoor cinema), but not required (will train).
*Experience with casino games a plus, but not required (will train).
*Experience with DJ equipment and setup, but not required.
*Strong desire to learn anything and everything.
The pay rate is $25 an hour for operations work, and $30 an hour when you manage events. In total, you can expect to work up to 40 hours a week + an operations profitability bonus which has no ceiling and should grow every year. Also included are health/dental benefits.
