Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Drive tractors and operate towing equipment, drills, discs, and drags to furrow and prepare the soil, seed, and fertilize such as corn and millet.
• Crops raised for forage for the animals will need to be cut, raked, and bailed.
• Minor maintenance will need to be done on all the equipment, structures, and grounds.
• Assist with calving of cattle, herd and care of animals.

Job qualifications and requirements

• Minimum of two months verifiable experience is required.
• Workers must be able to obtain their driver’s license within 30-90 days of hire.
• Workers will perform manual and physical work requiring extensive pushing, pulling, sitting or walking, frequent stooping, bending over and movements might be repetitive.
• Job duties include lifting of agricultural tools and equipment that weigh up to 60lbs.
• Work is performed mostly outdoors, and workers will be exposed to hot and humid conditions and sometimes severe weather conditions like thunderstorms and tornadoes.
• Must have three months experience in tractor driving with towed implements and must be able to operate computerized scale monitors for feeding cattle.
• No texting and use of cellphone during working hours, while operating machinery, equipment and driving vehicles.
• Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only.
• No smoking in housing unit, machinery or vehicles.
• No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours otherwise is discouraged.
• Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
• All tools are provided by the employer.

Wage: $12.31 per hour

Reimbursement for transportation and subsistence to worksite – 50% upon arrival and 50% at completion of work contract.

Housing will be provided should you not be able to return home at the end of each workday.
